April 1, 2018 - Our New Clinic Doors are Open!

We are excited to announce that our new OT clinic opened its doors at 1341 Corydon Avenue in Winnipeg this January! The vision was to have a space that reflected who we are as a company. It has an open-concept design with lots of sunlight and colour, spanning 1200 square feet. Significant renovations created a fully accessible site, from bus access on the street, accessible parking, front entrance door activator, widened interior doorways, accessible washroom and treatment rooms, functional capacity evaluation testing area, ergoLAB demo area, and a variety of ergonomic workstations for our team. For 13 years we offered community-based services, with a home office base, and just rented space at a physiotherapy clinic for our functional testing. Opening this clinic has allowed us to expand our direct treatment services for our mental health and cognitive rehabilitation services, functional capacity evaluations and has invited the opportunity to set up an ergoLAB - assistive technology and ergonomic computer access demo site. Internally, the benefits are felt every day with improved team building opportunities, collaboration, and social experiences.  It feels great to be able to apply what we teach as OTs and to have created a workplace that facilitates improved ergonomics, accessibility, and functional performance!
