Testimonials

“Russel Metals asked for Enabling Access to help to analyze our highest risk processes. They helped us create Job Demands Analysis and ergonomic assessment giving us a better understanding of how we can prevent injuries and incidents. Their understanding of both the employer and employee needs helps in getting a complete picture for the assessments. The Detailed report including pictures and video that we were given allows us to pass the information to safety committee and employees. Time is always a factor and they were flexible and able to work within our schedule we need to get the assessments done. They were not only able to identify areas of concern but help come up with possible solutions.”

"National Leasing would like to thank Marnie Courage and Enabling Access for assisting us in the completion of our Musculoskeletal Injury Risk Identification and Assessment, a new requirement of the Workplace Safety and Health legislation that became effective February 1st, 2007. Marnie is very experienced and knowledgeable regarding ergonomics, musculoskeletal disorders and body mechanics. She is very professional and approachable. Employees who had individual assessments conducted felt that any issues they expressed were taken seriously and that their problems were important. As well, Marnie suggested  practical, feasible solutions for a workplace, and didn't automatically recommend expensive options. Frequently the solutions she suggested were free, or even ended up saving us money! She provides a great balance between employee needs and company budget. National Leasing and its employees are pleased with the outcome and highly recommend Enabling Access."

"With an aging workforce at Canadian Pacific and a high number of strain and sprain injuries, the Health and Safety Committee for Mechanical Services committed to reduce this trend by introducing a professional ergonomic consultant to help us in our quest. We solicited Enabling Access to assist us with educating our employees in the proper ergonomic techniques, providing workplace wellness training sessions and to promote our Stretch and Flex program before starting any work activity. The goal was to empower employees and help them buy in to healthy living and working while preventing injuries, which we accomplished with Enabling Access’ help.  We would like to thank Marnie Courage and Enabling Access for their fine work. "

"One visit from Marnie, helped my elderly father accept the use of a a walker to enable him to be more mobile and safe with his walking. By taking him through, step by step his activities of daily living he was able to mange stairs, put his walker in the car, and the importance of using the brakes on his walker. Another problem solved was purchasing a commode for his bedroom. My dad is up frequently to use the bathroom and the commode helped him a lot and saved my mother from having to clean up in case of an accident."
