Office Ergonomics Assessments
Our occupational therapists are Matheson System trained Ergonomists. We conduct worksite office ergonomic assessments and home office ergonomic assessments in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. We identify ergonomic risk factors to improve comfort and reduce musculoskeletal injuries/disorders.
The comprehensive ergonomics report outlines equipment and furniture, administrative, and behavioural improvements. Educational resources are provided to increase engagement in healthy working behaviours, improve comfort and increase productivity.
Remote and Home Office Ergonomic Assessments
Remote working can be challenging without the proper supports, equipment and technology in place. What may have started out as temporary work locations are becoming permanent remote worksites.
Virtual remote ergonomic assessments are conducted using our secure online platform. Job Demands Analysis
A Job Demands Analysis (JDAs) assesses all the physical, cognitive and psychosocial demands of work. It is an essential investigation to understand a job and all that is required of the employees who are assigned that work. It is not employee-specific but requires an employee or supervisor to demonstrate all the essential tasks within that job classification.

An employer can use the JDAs to create more accurate job descriptions as well as use when matching an injured employee back to work following injury or illness..

Note:JDAs DO NOT outline the ergonomic risks of each job tasks so Employers will often require both a JDA and an Ergonomic Assessment to understand both the demands of the work and the ergonomic hazards that are present.
