Occupational Therapist – Ergonomics and Injury Prevention

Permanent Position (Flexible Hours from part-time up to full-time) 

 

We are  currently seeking a reliable, dynamic, organized and self-motivated OT to join our team. The OT will be working in the Workplace Ergonomics and Injury Prevention Program.  Training will be provided in all services with opportunity for a clinical leadership role.


Customers:

       Insurance companies, Law firms, and Businesses in Manitoba

 

Clients:

Individuals living with mental health conditions or with physical or intellectual disabilities.

Employees who may be at risk of job-related musculoskeletal injury. 

 

Core Responsibilities: 

Office and Industrial Ergonomic Assessments 

Job Demands Analysis/ Physical Demands Analysis/ Cognitive Demands Analysis 

Workplace Accommodation Assessment/Worksite Assessment 
Return to Work Coordination  
Post-offer Employment Testing 
Ergonomic and Injury Prevention Group Training

Requirements: 

-Must have a degree from an educational program recognized by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT); and be registered member of College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM) in good standing (by a mutually agreed upon job start date). 
-At least 1-year experience working as an occupational therapist
-Flexible scheduling (part time hours to full-time hours available) 
-Home office, computer, printer, cell phone, vehicle
